Many people are probably wondering where the hell this dude's disappeared to. Holiday's here and almost gone, no exams whatsoever and he's not blogging. Well i have a terrific excuse guys, so hear me out.

Somewhere before Gyin's party i attended this seminar about Psoriasis and Ezema, and this collection of herbs they have derieved which seem to have completely healed over thousands of patients in Singapore, China and Malaysia.

This collection of herbs basically will restore my skin back to normal, the catch being i have to follow a strict diet during the course of this medication and i have to be ready to face a "Healing Crisis", or several of them during the course of the medication. This "Healing Crisis" basically is a sudden outburst and flare in Ezema attack which would last around 2 weeks to a month and the skin will gradually get better.

So. I decided to go through this treatment because...well you people have seen my skin and most of you know how uncomfortable i feel about it. And most importantly its correcting whats wrong in my body. The reason for my disappearance this holidays basically is because i've hit my first healing crisis, and at the moment recovering from it. My arms, wrists in paticular began breaking out pimples, boils whatever you call it- and it began weeping plasma. The plasma then harderns and my hands become crusty and stiff, and at the worst stages of the healing crisis i couldn't eat myself, i had to use my legs to open doors and even peeing was a real chore for me. I could hardly move my fingers, which explained my absense from MSN and from my blog. Initially when the consultants warned me of the healing crisis i was pretty confident about dealing with it but it really is something hard to deal with. I've cried a fair few times worrying about how i was gonna function in the labs with gloves on and such. Two weeks down the line now and i've healed pretty much about 80%, and i'm left with some spots here and there with alot of dry new skin which is a totally different tone from my old skin.

and remember that strict diet i told you guys about? Well here's the list of stuff i can't eat-
    - chicken (kampung chicken is okay)
    - canned food
    - avoid anything with presevatives as much as possible
    - tomatoes
    - any form of nuts
    - chilli(green or red)
    - peppers ( green or red)
    - white rice or whitebread
    - sugar ( which means no cake, no chocolates)
    - alcohol
    - prawns, crabs,lobsters
    - anything that uses kuey teow, yellow noodles or any noodles besides beehoon.

yeap. so thats basically my diet for the next year or two. The good thing is i've already lost something like 5 kilos in my last two weeks being on this diet, so...i guess everything isn't that bad.
